WATCH: A’s fans show support at SF BCDC meeting for Howard Terminal ballpark project

On Thursday, 6/30/22, the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission voted 23-2 in favor of removing the Port Priority Use (PPU) designation from Howard Terminal at the Port of Oakland, clearing the way for future commercial and residential development.

Fan-driven groups like the Howard Terminal Waterfront Coalition (@HTWcoalition) and Oakland 68s (@Oakland68s) rallied A’s fans to make their voices heard at the meeting.

The A’s are seeking to build a new ballpark development at Howard Terminal to keep the team in Oakland.
